Margaret is a Senior level III Iyengar Yoga teacher, and has been teaching since 1981 . She has visited the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune, India many times and was priviledged to have been taught by BKS Iyengar himself, (since the late seventies in England, Europe and U.S.A. and from 1981 at the institute in Pune) In latter years by BKS Iyengar’s daughter, Geeta, and Prashant his son, in Pune
Margaret has developed, over the years, through her experience in Yoga, pranayama, meditation and Chinese Medicine, a complete practice in order to develop a deeper spiritual awareness It is a lifetime’s learning process and is a very exciting journey. Margaret has boundless enthusiasm for her practice and her teaching and loves to help her pupils discover a deeper level of Yogic awareness.
She has studied Remedial Yoga with Stephanie Quirke, who has worked directly with the Iyengars for many years in Pune
She teaches weekly classes and one-to-one sessions locally in Marlow, Cookham and Maidenhead; monthly Sunday morning workshops for intermediate students to further their practice, and also runs week end and one day workshops in England and Ireland. Also, several times a year she runs Yoga holidays – in Crete, Turkey, Canaries, and Egypt, Kerala, India, etc. As well as guest teaching in Europe and the U.S.A.

Margaret is also a qualified Acupuncturist, Tui Na practitioner (Chinese specialist deep massage) and Chinese herbalist. She gained her MBAcC at College of Integrated Chinese Medicine and did post graduate studies at Zhejiang College in China in 2000 She practices in Maidenhead and Cookham, Berkshire. She is experienced in treating many disorders.
She is also a practitioner of Facial Rejuvenation with Acupuncture – a wonderful skin treatment which is a well kept secret of Madonna, Gwyneth and co.
